Becoming a developer
To publish to the store you apply once and a moderator reviews your application. After approval you can submit as many listings as you like.
Before you can apply
Three things are checked, and all of them have to pass:
- An active Pro subscription. Publishing is a feature.
- A verified email address. Verify it from your account settings if you have not already.
- An account at least 14 days old.
The application
Open Become a developer from your account menu. You fill in:
- Developer name. The name shown on your listings and profile.
- Discord username. How a moderator reaches you if they have questions, and how users can reach you for help or questions about your macros.
- Sample macro. Pick one of your own macros. This decides the outcome, so send your best work. A sample that is too simple gets rejected.
- What does your macro do? Describe what it automates and how it works.
- What app or game is it for?
- How can a moderator test it? Optional, but it matters. If your macro needs an account, a save file, or a particular screen to be open, say so here. A reviewer who cannot run it cannot approve it.
You also accept the Creator Agreement: the macros you publish are your own work, do not infringe anyone else's rights, and contain nothing malicious. Read the full Creator Agreement opens the full text, including ownership, moderation, and how selling and payouts work. Our community guidelines cover behaviour across the rest of the app. Everything is reviewed before it goes live, and listings that break the rules can be removed later.
What happens next
Your application sits in one of four states:
- Pending review. A moderator has not looked at it yet.
- Approved. The creator console opens up and you can publish.
- More info needed. A moderator wants more detail before deciding. There will be a note explaining what.
- Not approved. You can apply again with a better macro after 24 hours.
Applications are usually rejected because the sample macro breaks the rules or is too simple. A single click on a timer will not be approved; a macro that handles a real task and recovers when things go wrong will.
What you get
- Publishing. Your macros in the store, in front of everyone using the app.
- A creator profile. Your own page with a picture, a banner, and followers.
- Analytics. Installs, likes and ratings for every listing.
- Free Premium. One free month for every 100 verified installs across your macros.
Verified installs are the ones that count toward that total, and your analytics page shows how many you have and how many are left to go.
